Competition Team Resource Hub

Everything you need for a successful competition season — all in one place

Welcome to the Competition Team Resource Hub. This page serves as a central place for important information, required lists, helpful guides, and tutorial videos to support our competition dancers and families throughout the season. Resources will be updated as needed, so we encourage families to bookmark this page and check back regularly. Our goal is to help everyone feel prepared, informed, and confident as we move through the competition season together.

2026 REQUIRED TEAM SHOES

Please click here to navigate to the list of required shoes for the 2026 competition season. These shoes reflect the approved competition look for each team and style. If you have any questions or need clarification, please email the studio for guidance.

If any links do not open on our website, click here to view the full shoe list.

ALL TEAMS: Competition Earrings & Team Appearance

If your dancer has pierced ears, they are required to wear competition rhinestone earrings for all performances.
For dancers without piercings, rhinestone clip-on earrings are an acceptable alternative.

The recommended competition earring options are listed below and can also be found on the Team Resource Hub shopping list:

  • Rhinestone Earrings – Round Shaped, 15MM
    https://amzn.to/49qbzcE
  • Clip-On Halo Rhinestone Earrings
    https://amzn.to/3YnXqHJ

These earrings are part of our required competition look and help ensure a consistent, polished appearance across all teams on stage.

Team Attire & Awards Expectations

When attending competitions, hair and makeup must be completed, and dancers must be dressed in TDPNW apparel when not in costume. This includes a TDPNW t-shirt, crewneck, hoodie, jacket, or similar approved top. Wearing a TDPNW top is mandatory when out of costume.

When dancers are on stage for awards:

  • A TDPNW top or jacket is required
  • No pajama pants are allowed on stage
  • Leggings or professional dance pants are acceptable
  • Bottoms may be worn in this year’s team colors:
Periwinkle Blue, Royal Blue, Hot Pink, or Black
  • TDPNW tops must be paired with clean, professional-looking dance pants
  • NEW FOR 2026: Season 8 TDPNW shirts purchased through TDPNW Foundation are acceptable

Arrival & Check-In Requirement

All dancers must be fully dressed, arrive at the venue, and be checked in with their teacher at least 90 minutes prior to their scheduled stage time. Competitions often run early, and this buffer ensures dancers are prepared, warmed up, and ready if the schedule shifts.

Failure to arrive on time may result in unnecessary stress for the dancer and the team and can impact overall readiness.
